Dragonfly sitting on a log

I've been trying for a while to get a picture of the dragonflies we see out on our walks, but (as you know), I haven't quite mastered the art of capturing things/animals in motion. Therefore, when I saw one at rest on a log, I crept up to it and snapped a picture or two. He either was really tired and didn't bother to move or he didn't sense that I was a threat (which I'm not) or I was just that good at quietly creeping up on him. (It helped that Pooker was on our walk with us and he was holding Brownie's leash while she played in the water, leaving me free to creep!)
